Our training day is quickly approaching. I am very excited about having everyone here as we officially kick off Mission:X. Some folks have been asking for details about times, etc. The day will proceed as follows.
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM : General Session
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM : Teamwork
Our general session will consist of some worship, testimonies and teaching by myself and Daryn Kinney. Then we will meet as teams for lunch (either going out together or everybody bringing lunch back to the building, depending on logistics), and spend the rest of the time meeting as teams, getting to know one another, strategizing for the trip, etc.
Later in the Day:
Although the Day of Training is officially ended at 3PM, we would invite anyone who is willing and able to come to Deluge (our Youth Group meeting) that night. We are currently studying Jesus Christ, and this month will be dedicated to “What He Did”, the gospel, our motivation for going on Mission:X. We’ll also spend some time in prayer for all the trips, asking God to fill us with the Holy Spirit as we prepare to go.
